Who You Are:

As our lead UI/UX designer, you will lead Uprise’s web, app, and mobile design efforts. You will be equally excited to tackle our internal product development as you are to support our clients’ varying business goals. And while we’ll nurture your development and encourage collaboration, we hope you’ll come to the table with fresh ideas about new libraries, tools, software architecture, UI design, UX best practices etc.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, prototype, and develop user-centered design solutions for our mobile, web, and software applications
  • Assist with user research and brainstorm solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to determine requirements and user needs
  • Manage design systems, team assets (such as pattern libraries), and style guides

Your versatility, leadership qualities, and enthusiasm will be what make you a key member of our team. We can’t wait to meet you.

Here’s What You Need

  • A degree in human-computer interaction, design, or a related discipline. Alternatively, we’re happy to consider previous relevant work experience
  • Experience (3-5 years) with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design for mobile and web applications
  • Familiarity with HTML & CSS
  • Fluency in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and others
  • Highly proficient with prototyping tools like Sketch, InVision, XD, and others
  • Knowledge about the emerging design trends, tools, and user experience techniques

Why we'll hire you:

  • You can research and bring new ideas to the table
  • You get along well with others and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • You're eager to learn and improve your craft as a UI/UX designer
  • You're able to take loose requirements, work with others to figure out what needs to be done and drive a project forward
  • You have the intuition for when to call it "good enough" and ship, and when to put in the extra time to polish
