Who You Are:
You’re a creative, detail-oriented multimedia storyteller with a passion for producing high-impact digital content. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and love using video, graphics, audio, and animation to bring ideas to life. You’re self-motivated and equally comfortable brainstorming new ideas as you are executing the technical details to make them happen. You take ownership of your projects, manage deadlines with ease, and work well with cross-functional teams to support a variety of marketing and communication goals.
This role is a great fit if you're an experienced content creator with strong visual storytelling skills and a drive to build out multimedia content across platforms.
Role Overview:
As a Multimedia Specialist, you’ll be an integral part of our Marketing team, developing high-quality digital content that supports brand storytelling, campaigns, educational initiatives, and internal communications. Your work will span video production, animation, photography, graphic design, and more—helping to elevate our brand and engage audiences across digital channels.
What You Will Do:
- Multimedia Content Creation
- Plan, produce, and edit digital content such as videos, animations, podcasts, infographics, and social media assets.
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to produce visuals aligned with campaign goals and brand standards.
Video & Audio Production
- Design graphics for campaigns, case studies, presentations, reports, email, and social media.
- Ensure all multimedia work adheres to Uprise branding and enhances our professional image.
Digital Channels & Photography
- Support our website, YouTube, blog, email, and social media channels with fresh visual content.
- Capture and edit photos from events, team interactions, and office settings as needed.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work with marketing, sales, and service teams to deliver high-quality content on deadline.
- Help manage creative project timelines and workflows, balancing multiple priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Film Production, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in multimedia production or digital content creation (B2B or tech environment preferred).
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, Final Cut Pro.
- Strong visual storytelling, editing, and motion skills.
- Experience with podcast editing tools (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) is a plus.
- Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects independently.
- Familiarity with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of multimedia content for digital marketing.
Preferred (Nice to Have, But Not Required):
- Experience in an IT services, MSP, or B2B tech marketing environment.
- Knowledge of SEO for video and visual content.
- Experience using WordPress, HubSpot, or marketing automation platforms.
- Background in animation or motion graphics.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, and screen for prolonged periods.
- Visual acuity to review detailed digital content, including video, graphics, and text.
- Occasional ability to lift and move equipment (e.g., camera gear, lighting setups) up to 20 lbs.
- Comfort using video/audio equipment and related tools in a home or office setting.
