Role Overview:
As a Solutions Engineer on our Professional Services Team, you'll spearhead the successful implementation of IT projects, consistently surpassing customer expectations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll develop project plans, offer technical guidance, and troubleshoot issues seamlessly. In tackling intricate technical challenges, you'll proactively address client IT issues within a team of energetic professionals. Your commitment to high-quality standards, customer service excellence, and adaptability to changing priorities makes you a crucial player in our collaborative and customer-focused team.
What You Will Do:
- Actively lead the implementation of customer projects, taking charge of knowledge gathering and seamlessly executing the defined scope.
- Create and manage concise project plans tailored to project size and complexity.
- Provide hands-on technical support throughout projects, addressing challenges promptly and optimizing solutions.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot technical issues for swift resolution, maintaining project timelines.
- Tackle technical challenges with a proactive mindset, ensuring smooth project progress within a collaborative team.
- Uphold high-quality standards in project delivery, prioritizing customer service excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and workflow fluctuations for agile project management.
- Management of internal technical documentation.
- Travel on-site to support customers as needed.
- May supervise or provide functional direction for other team members.
- Constantly focus on delighting all Uprise customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Managed Services Provider (MSP) environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of IT projects.
- Knowledge of Windows Desktop (Windows 10, 11) and Server (Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019) Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (management, migrations) and Active Directory (Entra ID, On-Prem AD). Google Workspace is a plus.
- Experience with Mac devices is a plus.
- Knowledge of remote monitoring and management platforms (NinjaOne, Auvik, Datto, ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able).
- Knowledge of EDR Solutions (SentinelOne, BitDefender, Crowdstrike).
- Knowledge of Network Monitoring tools (LogicMonitor, Auvik, Network Glue)
- Experience with documentation platforms (ITGlue, HUDU, SharePoint)
- Strong network troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working with people, excellent communications skills – both verbal and written, active listening, and customer care.
- IT Certifications (Highly Preferred): CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure AZ-900, VMware VCP
- Remote troubleshooting workstations, networks, and servers.
- Technical support of networking equipment: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN (hardware/software, Terminal Services, Microsoft Azure.
- Hardware upgrades/replacement, Hosted Services Migrations (Microsoft 365 (Exchange/SharePoint), Microsoft Azure (Azure AD/Intune).
