Uprise Partners Expands Its Strategic Advisory Services with Virtual Chief Information Officers
Uprise has expanded its strategic services portfolio by adding Virtual Chief Information Officers (vCIOs) to provide executive-level IT guidance and enhanced customer service to clients through technology roadmap development, proactive IT planning, and decision-making around infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and cloud strategy.
Uprise Partners is pleased to announce that it has expanded its strategic services portfolio to provide clients with executive-level IT guidance and enhanced customer service. To support this initiative, Uprise Partners has added two new members to its strategic services team. The Virtual Chief Information Officers, or vCIOs, are strategic advisors who guide clients through technology roadmap development, proactive IT planning, and decision-making around infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and cloud strategy.
The Uprise vCIOs work one-on-one with clients to help them navigate the ever-changing technology landscape. In addition to technology decisions, vCIOs also bridge the gap between IT and business strategy, with a focus on ROI and operational efficiency.
“At Uprise, we are focused on supporting small and medium sized businesses who rely on not just our knowledge to address immediate technology needs, but tailored guidance on how to leverage technology to support their unique business goals in the short and long term,” explained Malinda Gagnon, CEO of Uprise Partners. For modern organizations, technology isn’t part of the business, it is the business. We’re excited to offer this advanced level of dedicated support under the leadership of two new experienced industry pros.”
To support Uprise’s enhanced strategic services, the company has hired two new vCIOs to work with current clients.
Duncan Bruce brings nearly 30 years of IT consulting experience helping businesses align their technology strategies with their business goals. Bruce is passionate about identifying clients’ challenges and creating actionable solutions, with expertise in infrastructure operations, business continuity planning, digital transformation, and client advocacy. His previous experience includes working in Professional and Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and eight years as an IT engineering leader at NBC/Universal.
Marc Cash brings more than 30 years of comprehensive experience across all facets of IT and customer advocacy—as a customer, vendor, and former business owner. Most recently, Cash spent more than 14 years at Dell, where he played a pivotal leadership role in the Customer Success organization helping clients of all sizes leverage technology to strengthen their infrastructure and evolve their IT operations. Before joining Dell, Cash spent 13 years at Lowe’s Companies, where he managed cross-functional global teams and led critical IT engineering initiatives including enterprise virtualization, disaster recovery, and infrastructure protection.
“Both Duncan and Marc have the technical expertise critical to IT strategy and support, but most important, they both have experience building strong partnerships, leading strategic initiatives with focus and transparency, and delivering consistent business results,” Gagnon said of the new hires. “Their expertise gives our clients executive-level technology guidance to drive their business.”
